Nuremberg WW2 Combo Tour
is not only for WW2 buffs
My popular Nuremberg WW2 Combo Tour, covering the Rally Grounds to Room 600, is a great way to learn about not only the immense proportions of the former nazi party rally grounds and the megalomania of the National Socialist regime but also about the Nuremberg Trials which was the forum for what is often referred to as The Trial of the Century. My Nuremberg World War 2 tour is a really great way to round out your knowledge of this period.
What you'll see
We will start by visiting the Luitpold Arena site, the Congress Hall, The Great Street, and the Zeppelin Field. Afterward, we will drive over to the Justice Palace, where Room 600 is located, and learn about the first serious attempt to adjudicate State leaders accused of war crimes after WW2.
There's more
After the tour, I can drop you off in the Old Town so you can have some world-famous Nuremberg bratwurst or check out the Historic Art Bunker where the Monuments Men found many works of art stolen by the nazis.
It is also possible to customize this tour and combine it with any of my other Nuremberg Tours in English as well. I'll be happy to give you a quote for any Nuremberg tour variation that you want.
For parties of six or fewer, pick-up and drop-off with my personal vehicle from locations within central Nuremberg are FREE. If your party is larger than six people, please let me know so I can give you a quote for the additional costs involved.
IMPORTANT BOOKING INFORMATION: Please click here to contact me for a quote and to check my availability.
The tour duration is 4 hours and costs €345 for up to 6 people.
Please note: Room 600 (the courtroom where the trials were held) is still a working courtroom today and, therefore, I can't guarantee that you will be able to actually go into Room 600. However, you can always visit the excellent exhibition upstairs regardless.
Customer Feedback & Reviews
We thoroughly enjoyed our morning with Kevin. He is easy to talk with and his WW2 tour is incredibly informative and interesting. He has a wealth of knowledge on this period in "Nuremberg history", the "Nazi rallies" and the "Nuremberg trials". His narrative and presentation are excellent.
We almost felt transported back to the time of the rallies as he brought us to key areas and explained the scope and magnitude of Hitler's vision. The last part of the tour takes place in the building where the Nuremberg trials were held.
Because it was Sunday, we were able to access the room where they took place. Beforehand, Kevin provided us with a great deal of information about the trials and about the men involved. It was very interesting and made the experience even more authentic.
Afterward, he dropped us off for lunch at a quaint restaurant in Old Town. We enjoyed it so much, we went back for dinner the following night. Thank you, Kevin, for a truly memorable experience. We highly, highly, highly recommend you!
